The Straid Poetry Collection Awards 2025 | OPEN FOR SUBMISSIONS

 CLOSING DATE: 10^th November 2025

The annual Straid Collection Award leads to the publication of up to two new Straid Collections by Templar Poetry following each submission window. The award was founded in 2011.

• The 2025 Straid Award is open for consideration of submissions of complete manuscripts of full collections of poetry written in English.

• The closing date for receipt of submissions is Monday 10^th   November 2025

• Two Awards are available and include publication of the collections, author support and promotion following publication by Templar Poetry.

• Straid Award winning poet or poets will be offered the standard Templar Poetry Publishing Agreement.

• Straid Award poets will be offered support with live and online launch readings where feasible.

Submissions may be posted or sent as an attachment

i. Please pay the submission fee above

ii. You will receive an acknowledgment email with a four digit reference

iii. Please attach & email your manuscript to info@templarpoetry.com and include the four digit reference in your email subject line

iv. Acknowledgement of safe receipt of your manuscript will follow once we have checked your submission

v. If we have any queries regarding your submission we will contact you to resolve

vi. We expect to contact the winning poets early 2026 for later publication in 2026

vii. Winning collections will be submitted to any eligible awards

viii. Shortlisted poets will have a short selection of up to four poems published in  iOTA magazine in Autumn 2026
