Tom Weir was born in North Yorkshire in 1980 but grew up in Cambridgeshire.
He is widely travelled and his years living and working abroad, in both Europe and Asia, have provided a great deal of inspiration for his writing, as have the periods he spent living in remote parts of the English countryside: his poems often pay homage to his experiences during these times.
The Outsider won the iOTA Shot Pamphlet Award and was followed by Tom Weir's full collection, All that Falling which was launched at the Templar Poetry Live Keats House readings in June 2015.
