The Dumbo Octopus

£10.00

BELFAST LAUNCH: CRESCENT ARTS CENTRE Sunday 1st MAY @ 6.30pm with DAWN WOOD

The Dumbo Octopus explores the fabric of a Co. Down smallholding. Cows philosophise, the poet explores the various uses of a ceramicist’s bench and at its heart lies the sequence ‘Russian Dolls’ containing a sestina, a villanelle, a sonnet, a quatrain and a haiku.

The Lost Museums won the 2006 Rupert and Eithne Strong Prize for the best first collection in Ireland featuring an eclectic range of poetical forms.

This long awaited second collection by Matt Kirkham was launched at Keats House on 22nd March 2016 alongside Ian Harker's pamphlet The End of the Sky.
