Pat Winslow worked for twelve years as an actor and left the theatre in 1987 to take up writing. Dreaming of Walls Repeating Themselves was a winner of the 2007 Templar Poetry Pamphlet & Collection Awards and was followed in 2008 with a full collection, Unpredictable Geometry. Pat Winslow's poetry has been widely recognised in poetry competitions including the Keats Shelley and Strokestown Poetry Prizes.
Pat’s fiction has won awards and appears in anthologies and magazines. She’s currently working as a writer in residence at a prison.
Her latest collection is Kissing Bones and was launched and published at the sixth DerwentPoetry Festival in November 2012.
