Waiting to Burn is Angela Cleland's debut pamphlet and was one of the three winners of the inaugural Templar Poetry Pamphlet & Collection Awards in 2006.
The two other winners were Judy Brown and Rob Hindle
Angela Cleland as born in Inverness and grew up in Dingwall. She studied at Glasgow University and Goldsmiths. She lives, writes and performs in London.
Her debut collection, And in here, the Menagerie, followed her pamphlet and was launched at the inaugural Derwent Poetry Festival, at Masson Mills in Derbyshire.
