Staying in Touch by Oliver Comins is one of the winners of the Templar Pamphlet and Collection Awards and will be launched at the Derwent Poetry Festival in Matlock Bath on Saturday 6th November,
The poems in Staying in Touch are concerned with the filling and passing of time as well as the tactile, emotional and cultural connections humans make with one another.
The collection concludes with Breakfast Tremors, a mystery thriller sequence with quite a broad geographical spread.
Oliver Comins grew up in Warwickshire and studied at the University of York. He has lived and worked in West London for nearly 20 years.
