Maggie O’Dwyer’s The Wire Heart brings ancient wisdom, witchcraft and the wilderness of old Ireland into modern living rooms in the rain-soaked Dublin suburbs, reminiscent of a young Edna O'Brien, wonderfully mysterious and lyrical poems.

This is her first new book since her first collection, Laughter Heard from the Road, was shortlisted in the Rupert & Eithne Strong Award fro Best First Collection by an Irish Poet in 2009.

It was launched at Keats House alongside Jane Weir's new collection Anna Magnani, eat with me on 12th April  2017
