The Drum

The Drum was launched at Keats House, Hampstead on Tuesday 20th June 2017

Beatrice Garland’s first collection, The Invention of Fireworks, was short-listed for the Forward Prize Best First Collection. She has won both the National Poetry Competition and the Strokestown International Poetry Prize.

Her working life has been as a National Health Service clinician, teacher and researcher in psychological medicine.  

She lives and works in London.
