On the Kiso Road was launched by Jo Haslam at the sixth Derwent Poetry Festival, Masson Mills, Matlock Bath and is one of the two winners of the 2012 Templar Straid Collection Awards.
This is Jo Haslam's third collection and includes 'Wish' which was a second prize winning poem in the 2010 National Poetry Competition.
More recently Jo Haslam was the winner of the 2012 Mslexia Poetry Competition.
Jo Haslam grew up in Lancashire, graduated in Fine Art in Manchester and lives with her family in West Yorkshire where she works as a writer and bibliotherapist. . Her first collection Light from the Upper Left published by Smith/Doorstop, after winning the Poetry Business competition in 1994, was followed by her collection The Sign for Water and a pamphlet Lunar Moths. Her work has appeared in poetry magazines and received recognition in major poetry competitions including the 2012 Mslexia Poetry Competition which she won.
