All that Falling isTom Weir's first full collection and was launched at Keats House on Tuesday 2nd June 2015.

Tom Weir was born in North Yorkshire in 1980 but grew up in Cambridgeshire. He is widely traveled and his years living and working abroad, in both Europe and Asia, have provided a great deal of inspiration for his writing, as have the periods he spent living in remote parts of the English countryside: his poems often pay homage to his experiences during these times.

SOME FIRST LINES...

I’ve been collecting pieces of light for years..

We talked all morning about the horse..

I should probably mention the dark..

Was it you who lit the clock in the spire..

I don’t even remember there being any rain..

You told me, once, about a scientist in Scotland..

Talking to you isn’t talking to you, it’s talking to myself..

I’m supposed to teach them the meaning of sunset..

It’s not here yet but it’s getting close..
