Rob Hindle was born in Rotherham and spent time in Leeds and Madrid before settling in Sheffield in 1994. He works for the WEA and, occasionally, for the University of Sheffield. He has had poems and short stories published in several magazines including Staple, and Dreamcatcher.
This short collection tells the stories of victims of the flood of 1864 and was one if the first three winning submssions to the inaugural Templar Poetry Pamphlet & Collection Awards.
It was followed in 2007 by Rob Hindle's superb first collection, Neurosurgery in Iraq.
