Tom Weir’s poetry has been Highly Commended in The National Poetry Competition and the Forward Prize, and he was the winner of the 2017/18 Magma Poetry Competition Editors’ Prize. He is an avid supporter of AFC Wimbledon and awaits the call to be their first ever poet laureate so he can quit his job as a primary school teacher.
