Erin Halliday was born in Belfast in 1982 and studied English and Classical Studies at Queen’s University, also taking her MA in Creative Writing there in 2004.
After a brief career in horticulture she returned to Queen’s to complete a PhD in Creative Writing: Poetry, for which she researched aspects of ‘flux’ at work in Latin poetry of the Augustan Age, and modern translations of such. She now lives in County Down.
