Tom Weir's pamphlet, The Outsider, was one of the two winners of the 2014 IOTA Shot Pamphlet Awards, alongside Penelope Shuttle's In the Snowy Air

The Outsider draws upon the poet's experiences of living in the English countryside and Europe and was launched at the inaugural Templar Poetry Live readings in partnership with Keats House, Hampstead, on Tuesday 27th May 2014.

All that Falling isTom Weir's first full collection and was launched at Keats House on Tuesday 2nd June 2015. 

Tom Weir, born in North Yorkshire in 1980, grew up in Cambridgeshire. He is widely traveled and his years living and working abroad, in both Europe and Asia, have provided a great deal of inspiration for his writing, as have the periods he spent living in remote parts of the English countryside: his poems often pay homage to his experiences during these times.

 

Tom Weir will offer a number of 30 minute poetry and writing workshop.

  • These will be sent to Dawn prior to the 1:1 session
  • The poems will be used as a context for the session
  • Include a short biography with your submission

  • We cannot accept poems sent by mail but it is not necessary to send poems, you may also bring work with you before the session to the Festival Bookshop staff in the Nightingale Room who will forward them to Tom Weir
