The Templar Poetry Bookshop

Welcome to the new Templar Poetry Bookshop which brings great opening offers on all our short collections, as well as details about the 2011 Derwent Poetry Festival. The full programme is available by clicking HERE
This year the Derwent Poetry Festival launches nine new Templar titles, including three new pamphlets from Chris James, Clive Allen and Andrew Jamison. The first three Straid Collection Award winners, Kathleen Jones, Martin Malone and Susanne Ehrhardt, launch their new collections. Anthology poets read from Bliss and we are delighted to welcome our guest poet, Mimi Khalvati.
This year's festival also sees the first writing workshops led by Paul Maddern. The latest issue of Iota will also be on sale and Michael Woods will launch his first collection, Absence Notes. There will also be a sneak preview of Spine, Jane Weir's sequel to her acclaimed poetic biography, Walking the Block.
